Airtel digital TV has rolled out a new campaign to promote its mega consumer promotion which will offer customers an opportunity to meet stars such as A.R Rahman, Saif Ali Khan and Gautam Gambhir.
“The objective of the campaign is to create a buzz around the consumer promotion resulting in market capitalisation,” said R Chandrasekar, head - brand and media, Bharti Airtel.
The campaign, developed by JWT, reiterates the brand positioning, “Come home to magic” and takes it forward by bringing alive the experience of meeting stars from different entertainment genres. “Our launch proposition introduced various genres on Airtel DTH through some of the biggest stars in India,” said Chandrasekar. “The new promotion gives an ordinary person to meet these very stars and the campaign is built around this creative concept.”

The 35-second TVC shows a young man playing cricket with Zaheer Khan and Gautam Gambhir in his own house. As Khan appeals to a shot played by the boy, he is joined by some of the biggest stars from various sports like tennis and F1.
The shot closes with the boy (as if playing with his neighbourhood friends), getting upset and walking out of the game saying, “Mera bat hai, mein nahin khelta!”
Another cut shows the boy with various Bollywood celebrities.
