Agoda teams up with leading entertainers for ‘Amazing Hotel Prices’ drive

Agoda has introduced a new digital campaign titled ‘Amazing Hotel Prices’, featuring Sunil Grover, Ekta Kapoor, Chunky Panday and Varun Sharma. The multi-film series aims to communicate the platform’s discounted domestic hotel rates through humorous, high-energy narratives tailored for digital audiences. As part of the campaign, Agoda is offering discounts of up to 50% on select domestic accommodation.

The launch coincides with one of India’s peak travel periods, when demand for both leisure and family travel typically surges. The creative approach is anchored in a core consumer insight: Indian travellers prioritise strong hotel deals but are unwilling to trade off comfort or convenience. Each film uses a playful, slightly exaggerated narrative, allowing the featured personalities to respond spontaneously to discovering unexpectedly low hotel prices on the platform. The content aligns with Agoda’s light, energetic brand tonality and is designed for high shareability across digital channels.

The films have been released across social media platforms and other digital environments, forming a cohesive campaign that blends humour, personality-driven storytelling and simple product messaging. Collective Artists Network partnered with Agoda to conceptualise and produce the series, bringing together talent whose distinct comedic styles resonate with diverse audience segments.

Gaurav Malik, country director for the Indian Subcontinent and Indian Ocean Islands at Agoda, said, “With travel’s high season upon us in India, we know that great hotel prices play a huge role in trip-planning decisions. The ‘Amazing Hotel Prices’ campaign celebrates the excitement travellers feel when they find an incredible deal, and nobody brings that energy to life better than Sunil Grover, Ekta Kapoor, Chunky Panday and Varun Sharma. They each represent a distinct style and sense of humour, and together, they help us speak to our audience in a language they love.”

Sudeep Subash, co-founder and cro at Collective Artists Network and ceo of Big Bang Social, added, “We believe a great campaign is more than marketing; it’s about telling real stories that people will remember. We’re happy to play a part in bringing this campaign to life for Agoda. This campaign not only underscores Agoda’s dedication to providing exceptional value but also beautifully captures the joy and spontaneity of finding great hotel deals, as showcased by the celebrated artists.”

Within the first weeks of release, the campaign collected close to 100 million impressions across YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, including the talents’ own social handles. The performance reflects the continued strength of personality-led digital content in driving awareness for travel platforms, particularly during seasonal surges when competition for attention is high.

For marketing, media and advertising professionals, the campaign showcases Agoda’s strategy of pairing straightforward product messaging with talent-centric creative, supported by platform-native storytelling. By using humour, recognisable faces and a clear value proposition, the campaign reinforces Agoda’s positioning around convenience, choice and competitive pricing for domestic travellers.
