2017 was an eventful year for L&K Saatchi & Saatchi. Founder Praveen Kenneth announced his retirement and departed from the agency bearing his name. The announcement was made during the final sale of his shareholding in Paris and Anil S Nair was given charge of the agency. Nair was also inducted to the global leadership team.
The agency also waved goodbye to its CCO for digital, Vinay Venkatesh. Among new hires was Tushar Pal who joined as ECD.

The agency bagged Gold at the Cannes Lions for its ‘GiveMe5’ piece of work for The Ammada Trust. Other wins included four Abbys (three Silver and a Bronze).
Account wins such as Future Retail (advertising and digital), Kalyan Jewellers (advertising), Amway India (advertising) and Bauli India among others lent to overall growth for the agency.
The relationship with Renault continued as it worked on the launch campaign for the Captur.
The agency also rolled out a ‘dedicated’ short film on behalf of the nation to the people of Kashmir. The film was inaugurated by Rajnath Singh, home minister, and Hema Malini, member of parliament, along with Mahesh Gupta, chairman - Kent RO Systems.
