Albert Pereira joins Genesis Burson-Marsteller

Genesis Burson-Marsteller has appointed Albert Pereira as president of the digital practice and chief marketing officer. With over 15 years of experience in the communications industry, Pereira has held integrated marketing leadership roles in key communication networks. In his new role, his mandate is to bring in fresh insights and strategies that would add greater value to clients.

Speaking on the appointment, Prema Sagar, principal and founder of Genesis Burson-Marsteller, said, “2011 promises to be an exciting and high growth year for us. We are bringing in exceptional talent to expand our client service offering and our strong leadership team continues to focus on providing expert counsel in the areas of domain knowledge, strategy and management of issues and crises. As head of the digital business in India and chief marketing officer, Albert will work closely with Burson-Marsteller’s Asia-Pacific digital team to deliver innovative and insight-driven communication campaigns for clients across the region.”
