Vistara, which started operations in January this year, has launched a #HamariPehliDiwali campaign.
Conceptualised by The Mob, the campaign comprises a contest through which the airline is promising to give away five couple return flight tickets. Three digital films have been rolled out to promote this contest.
The first film features a newlywed couple talking of having just bought a new house and chipping in with both their salaries to pay the EMI. They had to pick between going to his place or hers for Diwali, they explain. The lady says she wants to visit her place in Bhubaneshwar too, and they make a plea to Vistara to give them the tickets for their Pehli Diwali
The second film features two brothers in Bengaluru who have just set up their IT start-up. Their pitch is for Vistara to fly down their parents, so that their mom’s Pehli Diwali Puja can usher in good times for their venture.
The third film features a grandmom who shows the picture of her two-day old grandson on her mobile phone. She wants to visit him.
The campaign will run across social media channels with entries invited from 5 to 16 November. Entrants can send a video on why they deserve the tickets, or write it out.
