Santosh Desai’s column in The Times of India is always a great read. I missed it yesterday, thanks to the newspapers not being delivered by the time I left home. Luckily, Vishakha Singh, now on her way out of employment and into entrepreneurship, drew my attention to Santosh’s piece, The revolution inside a pill.
Partho Dasgupta, CEO, Future Media and Vishakha Singh, head, MaRCom, Future Media have both put in their papers. In a conversation with Campaign India, the two confirmed the development.Campaign India also learns that Dasgupta (pictured) and Singh are starting a new venture in the communication area called Auroracomms Private Limited. However they declined to divulge details on the scope of activity of the new venture.
Future Media has appointed Ashim Mohanty as content head for Future TV. In his new role, Mohanty will be responsible for the content that will play on Future TV and will report to Vishakha Singh – director, marcom and strategy. Mohanty comes from Times Now where he was head of (on-air) promos and packaging team. Prior to Times Now, he worked with CNBC - TV 18 where he handled graphics for various entertainment shows.
