Saurabh Kanwar joins Silicon valley start-up Nex Sales

Saurabh Kanwar, former VP-content and communication for Channel [V] will join Silicon-valley based start-up Nex Sales as partner. Kanwar will continue to be based in Mumbai, where Nex Sales has an office with over 40 employees.Nex Sales operates in the new media space in the domain of market research, lead generation, database building, market intelligence and e-mail marketing, amongst other B2B services.

Saurabh Kanwar quits Channel [V]

Saurabh Kanwar (pictured), vice president - content and communication at Channel [V] has put in his papers.Prem Kamath, general manager, Channel [V] confirmed the development to Campaign India. Kamath said, "Saurabh has had a long stint at Channel [V] where he was looking into both the business and our music programming, going on steer the channel's digital initiatives. He now moves on to pursue new opportunities and I wish him all the best."It couldn't be ascertained where Kanwar is headed as he was not available for comments.

Mess at Channel [V]

In a worrying development at Channel [V] caused by differences of opinion between Mohit Anand, head, Channel [V] (pictured) on the one hand,  and Saurabh Kanwar, vice president, content and communication, STAR India and Sheetal Sudhir, creative director, Channel [V] on the other, a shake up is imminent.According to sources, the differences surfaced during a party for Get Gorgeous, resulting in a virtual revolt by Saurabh and the creative and promo team.Saurabh has not been attending office since the incident.
