ICICI Bank searches for Hong Kong creative shop

ICICI Bank, India’s second largest bank, is believed to be looking for a creative agency in Hong Kong. The bank has recently gone through a period of inactivity in the Hong Kong market. It is not known who the incumbent on the account is.

ICICI only Indian brand in Millward Brown's Most Valuable Brands list

Millward Brown has released its annual Millward Brown Optimor 'BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands' list, the rankings for which take into account customers' opinions on brands.For the first time, an Indian brand - ICICI Bank - features in the list at number 45, alongwith 12 other brands from developing markets. This is the first year that all members of the BRICs have been represented with new entrants from China, Russia and Brazil.

Media, TNS release Asia Pacific's Top 1000 brands

Media magazine (sister title to Campaign India) in conjunction with TNS, has released 'Asia Pacific's Top 1000 Brands' survey for 2008. According to the report, India's 'best brands' in various categories include LG, Samsung, Kingfisher, Jet, ICICI, SBI, Sony, Canon, Cadbury, Nestle, VISA, Taj, Oberoi, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Sony and Samsung.

Chirantan Chandran is GM Mindshare Delhi

Mindshare has re-designated Chirantan Chandran as general manager Delhi, to oversee the non-Pepsi business originating out of the office that includes accounts such as Glaxo Smith Kline, ICICI and Motorola. Chandran joins from Kolkata where he was the general manager. Chandran's move comes as Hans Mathews, ex GM Delhi, has relocated to Mumbai to   play a vital role in the reorganisation process of Mindshare. Addendum: Chirantan continues to hold charge of the Kolkata office in addition to his new responsibility
