Zee Media appoints Aditya Tandon as chief brand officer

Zee Media has announced the appointment of Aditya Tandon as chief brand officer for campaigns and IPs, per a BSE filing. He previously served as vice president and head of brand marketing at Network18 Media & Investments, contributing 12 years to the company. 

Bringing over 25 years of marketing experience across India and international markets, Tandon has worked in media, telecom, and print sectors, excelling in brand building and relaunches. He holds degrees from Delhi University, Delhi School of Economics, and Sprott School of Business, Ottawa.

Progility Technologies unveils new identity for 2025

Progility Technologies, an enterprise technology solutions provider, announced a major brand revamp to kickstart 2025. The refreshed corporate identity features a sleek new logo with the tagline 'Trusted technology' and a primary blue colour palette symbolising trust and security.

This transformation aligns with Progility’s goal of being “the most trusted and valued technology innovation partner” across its markets. With a strong presence of 1,500 active customers and a perfect net promoter score of 100%, the new branding reflects the company’s commitment to reliability and innovation in the fast-evolving tech landscape.

Tonic Worldwide appoints Nishant Gopalia as senior vice president-media and martech 

Tonic Worldwide has appointed Nishant Gopalia as senior vice president for media and martech. A digital marketing professional with over 18 years of experience, he previously led digital media for Viacom18’s sports vertical, managing campaigns for high-profile events like the FIFA World Cup and IPL. His agency tenure includes roles at GroupM, PHD, and Performics, where he specialised in sectors ranging from entertainment and OTT to FMCG, banking, and D2C. 

On joining Tonic Worldwide, Gopalia is looking forward to collaborating with the agency’s talented team to deliver media solutions that achieve clients’ marketing and business objectives. Chetan Asher, founder and CEO of Tonic Worldwide, emphasised that Gopalia’s blend of agency and brand expertise aligns with the company’s efforts to strengthen its media practice and build MarTech tools for an ROI-driven market.    

LEAPX unveils conversational AI tool for paid ads automation

LEAPX has launched DAC, a conversational AI platform to automate paid digital advertising for agencies and brands. Enormous taps Akshat Trivedi to lead creative in the west 

Enormous Brands has appointed Akshat Trivedi as national creative director-West, leveraging his expertise in impactful storytelling and consumer-focused campaigns. Trivedi, previously creative partner at The Womb, spearheaded campaigns such as Fogg and Saregama Carvaan. His new role at Enormous involves crafting innovative campaigns, mentoring creative teams, and ensuring work that resonates with contemporary audiences.   

Trivedi’s career spans top agencies like Ogilvy and Ibs Fulcro, where he delivered award-winning campaigns for marquee brands including Cadbury Perk, and Piramal Finance. He brings a multidisciplinary approach, having co-written the screenplay for the acclaimed film 'Trial Period'. 

Madison Turnt appoints Rishabh Ratnu as vice president  

Madison Turnt, the experiential marketing arm of Madison World, has appointed Rishabh Ratnu as vice president to head its Delhi branch. With over 20 years of experience in advertising and experiential marketing, he has a strong track record in driving revenue growth and fostering client relationships through creativity and strategic insights. Reporting to CEO Sunny Vohra, he is expected to bring innovative solutions to Madison Turnt’s clients while contributing to the agency's ongoing growth and success.

Rishabh, known for his passion for innovation, shared his enthusiasm for the role and commitment to delivering impactful solutions for clients. Madison Turnt works with popular brands like Parle Agro, Pepsico, and Vivo, and forms a crucial part of Madison World.

Blisse Colaco joins DoubleTree Goa as marketing head 

DoubleTree by Hilton Goa-Panaji has appointed Blisse Colaco as its marketing and communications manager as it aims to enhance brand perception and market positioning. She will oversee comprehensive marketing strategies, budgeting, and storytelling efforts to drive customer acquisition and support sales, aligning with the hotel’s broader business objectives.

Colaco brings extensive experience from her tenure at several hospitality establishments, including over five years at Goa Marriott Resort and Spa. Her career also spans roles at Cidade de Goa, Alcon Victor Group, and ICICI Bank, where her contributions were consistently lauded.  

hBits names Zahid Gawandi as marketing director 

hBits, a platform for fractional commercial real estate investment, has appointed Zahid Gawandi as director–brand and marketing. Bringing over 20 years of experience across sectors like fintech, BFSI, FMCG, and automobiles, he aims to lead hBits’ brand transformation and market growth following its recent INR 40 crore fundraise.

Previously, he helmed marketing at SBI Securities, spearheading its rebranding efforts, and has contributed to launching and scaling brands like Reliance Money. Gawandi’s expertise in international marketing and his reputation as a thought leader make him a valuable addition to hBits’ leadership team. As director, Gawandi ahid will focus on enhancing brand visibility, driving client acquisition, and leveraging digital campaigns to engage investors seeking secure and innovative asset classes. 

Experience Commerce secures Tata MenCan’s social media mandate
 
Experience Commerce, part of the Cheil Network, has won the annual social media mandate for Tata MenCan, a non-profit initiative by the Urology Disease Management Group of Tata Memorial Centre. Tata MenCan focuses on raising awareness about prostate, testicular, and penile cancers while addressing associated stigma and gaps in care infrastructure. The initiative offers support through financial assistance, counselling, rehabilitation, and skill development, with plans to establish a Centre of Excellence for early detection, treatment, and research in urological cancers.  
 
The partnership will involve Experience Commerce managing Tata MenCan’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The agency will oversee strategic campaigns, digital content development, and audience engagement to promote awareness and normalise discussions around male cancers. Western Refrigeration supports this initiative as part of its CSR efforts, aiming to align business goals with societal contributions.

Criteo names Michael Komasinski as new CEO 

Criteo has announced Michael Komasinski as its new CEO, effective 15 February 2025, succeeding Megan Clarken, who is retiring. Komasinski, with over two decades of adtech experience, joins from dentsu, where he served as Global CEO of Merkle and played a pivotal role in embedding AI across its products, transforming the company's technology strategy, and driving significant enterprise growth. At Criteo, he aims to leverage advancements in AI and the global rise of e-commerce to enhance the company’s position as a leader in commerce media and AdTech. 

With a career spanning leadership roles at dentsu, Razorfish, and Nielsen, Komasinski brings a wealth of knowledge in retail media, global operations, and data-driven strategies. He expressed enthusiasm for building on Criteo’s momentum and delivering innovative commerce solutions to drive value for clients and shareholders. Clarken will remain in an advisory role during the transition to ensure continuity.

Django partners with Swiggy Dineout to elevate social media 

Django has secured the social media mandate for Swiggy Dineout, aiming to enhance the platform's digital engagement and strengthen its connection with food enthusiasts across India. By implementing a social-first, influencer-led strategy driven by creativity and data insights, Django seeks to position Swiggy Dineout as the go-to dining partner.

This collaboration will focus on highlighting Swiggy Dineout’s offerings, including seamless table reservations, exclusive discounts, and a curated dining experience, while fostering a strong community of diners. Swiggy Dineout currently offers bookings and bill payments at over 35,000 restaurants in 50+ cities. The partnership with Django is expected to boost user engagement and amplify the platform’s presence on social media. 

OktoBuzz bags digital mandate for Godrej Locks

Mumbai-based digital solutions agency OktoBuzz has been awarded the digital mandate by Godrej Locks and Systems to enhance the brand’s e-commerce performance and LinkedIn presence. The deal mandates the vendor to implement performance marketing and digital media strategies for large e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, alongside social media management to improve Godrej’s online engagement.

As part of the deal, OktoBuzz will lead a LinkedIn campaign that highlights Godrej’s legacy in the security industry and its advanced security solutions. The campaign aims to solidify Godrej Locks and Systems' position in the digital security sector while fostering connections with professionals in home improvement, such as architects and interior designers. OktoBuzz will also handle Godrej’s social media, e-commerce marketing, and online relationship management.

OktoBuzz won the account after a multi-agency pitch. Through digital marketing, OktoBuzz will increase Godrej Locks' brand visibility and build trust. It will also drive e-commerce performance and target both B2B and B2C audiences using tailored digital strategies.

Cielo Ecom onboards Apple Baby India to strengthen e-commerce solutions & digital presence

Cielo Ecom has been assigned the e-commerce and social media mandate for Apple Baby India, a brand specialising in baby products. The agency will manage social media platforms, handle online responses, and enhance the brand’s digital presence across various channels.

Mr Amit Pandey, business head of Cielo Ecom, noted the agency’s focus on using storytelling and strategies to connect Apple Baby India with its audience. Mr Lalith Jain, CEO of Apple Baby India, stated that the collaboration would support the brand’s growth and outreach efforts.

Whoppl secures social media mandate for Go Zero

Whoppl, a content-to-commerce company, has been entrusted with leading Go Zero’s social media strategy, focusing on video-first content and influencer partnerships. This collaboration follows Go Zero’s recent visibility boost after its appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4.  
 
Both brands aim to strengthen Go Zero’s digital presence and drive growth within the quick commerce sector. The partnership seeks to redefine how content contributes to marketing in the F&B industry.  
 
ADA partners with EYP creations to boost Punjabi music in Canada
 
ADA, the distribution arm of Warner Music Group, has entered into a global distribution agreement with EYP Creations. This partnership aims to expand the presence of Punjabi music in Canada while supporting emerging talent. ADA will collaborate closely with EYP’s label, UrDebut Canada, which has successfully launched several artists.  
 
With the rising global demand for Punjabi music, which grew by 59% in 2023, the alliance seeks to elevate South Asian artists and support their growth both locally and internationally.  
 
Cinépolis India appoints Yajur Gulati as brand and communications lead
 
Yajur Gulati has joined Cinépolis India as its new brand and communications lead. Previously with Philips India, Gulati brings 15 years of experience across organisations such as HT Media, Reliance Brands, and GroupM.  
 
At Cinépolis India, Gulati is expected to leverage his expertise in integrated media strategies to strengthen the brand’s position in the competitive multiplex industry.
