ZenithOptimedia lands Videocon media brief

ZenithOptimedia Group has bagged the lucrative media planning and buying account of the Videocon Group following a multi-agency pitch.The account, estimated to be close to Rs 200 crore, includes all of Videocon’s existing businesses, franchises as well as new projects. Videocon’s in-house media agency, Confidence, was looking after its media duties prior to this.

ZenithOptimedia Group has bagged the lucrative media planning and buying account of the Videocon Group following a multi-agency pitch.

The account, estimated to be close to Rs 200 crore, includes all of Videocon’s existing businesses, franchises as well as new projects. Videocon’s in-house media agency, Confidence, was looking after its media duties prior to this.

“The group is looking to expand in a big way and thus, felt the need to bring in a professional, integrated media agency on board,” said Satyajit Sen, MD (North), ZenithOptimedia. “The account will be handled out of our Gurgaon office.”
