Year-ender: 'ATMs will start functioning normally from 1 January': Debraj Tripathy

We ask adlanders for their standout moment of 2016, and an outrageous prediction for the year to come

Year-ender: 'ATMs will start functioning normally from 1 January': Debraj Tripathy
Debraj Tripathy,
COO, Mediacom

"The stand out moment is related to work and the way people related to each other. Five months ago someone fell ill at work. We didn’t know what it was and whether it was serious or not. But, the entire office rallied around him, went to the hospital and got him checked. The office was with him throughout. This shows it’s a team-game. We normally read about these things. For me it was a real-life experience and that was my most important moment of the year."

Outrageous prediction for 2017...

"ATMs will start functioning normally from 1 January onwards and everyone will have cash from those machines and banks."
