Donaldson recently surpassed 100 billion video views on YouTube and is in Riyadh to launch Beast Land, the theme park that is modeled after the elaborate endurance challenges featured in his videos, where participants compete to win large cash prizes.
The launch is part of the ongoing Riyadh Season, a nearly half-year-long calendar of entertainment events. The collaboration reflects Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030," which aims to diversify its economy away from oil and transform its previously ultra-conservative society by expanding entertainment options like concerts, sports, and major events. On November 6, 2025, MrBeast posted on X giving glimpses of the Beast Land and wrote, “Next week Beast Land our brand new theme park opens!!!! We built custom games modeled after our videos that don’t exist ANYWHERE else and will have the world’s largest prize wall.”
Beast Land is set to feature rollercoasters and challenges styled like American Gladiators, and was chosen for Riyadh because 70% of MrBeast's fan base is international, and the location offered easily accessible studio space for filming, according to media reports. The partnership is a continuation of the kingdom's strategy of attracting global talent with massive compensation, similar to Cristiano Ronaldo's deal with Al Nassr.
The YouTuber is popular among his audience for his videos and the concept of engaging with audience and viewers on several occasions. In 2022, he also launched a new chocolate brand called Feastables, one of the premium chocolate brands to compete with the alikes of Hershey’s chocolates.
