DigitasLBi wins Orient Electric’s digital mandate
 
DigitasLBi has announced that it has bagged the digital mandate of Orient Electric. The agency's Delhi office bagged the account following a multi-agency pitch.  A campaign created by DigitasLBi was rolled out on 1 September 2016.
 
Tonic Media bags Sony Playstation’s digital mandate
 
Tonic Media has won the digital mandate for Sony PlayStation following a multi-agency pitch. The agency’s mandate is to develop the brand's online presence through social media platforms.
 
Mirchi Love rolled out
 
Mirchi FM has announced the launch of its second brand ‘Mirchi Love’ –in Ahmedabad, Surat and Jaipur. This will be followed by launches in Pune, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Kanpur and Nagpur. The theme for the station is 'Love'. 
 
Abraham to promote Arunachal Pradesh Tourism
 
John Abraham has been roped in as brand ambassador of Arunachal Pradesh Tourism. The department of tourism of the state will be looking to popularise it following the appointment. This follows the appointment of BE Viacom18 (the integrated networks solutions arm) to boost tourism in Arunachal Pradesh. 
 
Percept/H gets Maitra as head of Mumbai
 
Percept/H has announced the appointment of Shampa Maitra as branch head for its Mumbai office. Maitra had joined Percept One in March to ‘percolate the Percept One philosophy’. She will continue with that role too.
 
Maitra has previously worked with Bates, Rediffusion, McCann Erickson, Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett. 
 
HBO Hits is now HBO HD
 
HBO India has renamed its channel HBO Hits as HBO HD. The change was made on 4 September 2016. 
 
WATConsult bags five new accounts
 
WATConsult has bagged the digital and social media mandates for IICE Vodka, Lybrate, Centre for Digital Financial Inclusion (CDFI), Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals and Boston Scientific Corporation of India (BSCI). The agency’s Delhi office will handle the accounts.
 
In addition to bagging these businesses, the agency has also moved to a bigger office in Saket. 
 
Viacom18 to launch MTV BEATS
 
Viacom18 is hoping to strengthen its youth and music portfolio, with the announcement of a music brand ‘MTV BEATS’. The channel is to go on-air soon and is being positioned as a one-stop destination for all music needs. 
 
Prachi Bali to head FoxyMoron's Delhi operations
 
FoxyMoron has announced the elevation of Prachi Bali to the position of business head –  North. Prior to this she was account director at the agency’s Mumbai office. She will continue to report to Pratik Gupta, co-founder.

Lodestar UM gets Nikhil Rangnekar as media consultant

Lodestar UM has appointed Nikhil Rangnekar as media consultant. Rangnekar moves from Spatial Access where he was the CEO - media audit and advisory business. Rangnekar is based in Mumbai and reports to Nandini Dias, CEO, Lodestar UM.
