ASCI upholds complaints against 31
 
In December 2017, ASCI’s Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) upheld complaints against 31 advertisements out of the total 81 evaluated. From the 20 ads picked by ASCI’s suo moto surveillance, complaints against 18 were upheld.
 
Of the 61 advertisements complained against by the consumers or industry members, complaints against 13 advertisements were upheld.
 
Amongst the 31 advertisements, 13 belonged to the healthcare category, seven to education , three to F&B, and eight were from the ‘others’ category.
 
Dream11 ropes in MS Dhoni 
 
Dream11 has announced former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its brand ambassador. Dhoni will be the face of Dream11’s multi-channel marketing campaigns and brand engagement activities.
 
Pepe Jeans signs Sidharth Malhotra
 
Pepe Jeans India has roped in Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra as its first ever Indian brand ambassador. Malhotra will appear in the brand's Spring Summer 18 campaign titled '#MadeToCreate'. Globally Pepe has had ambassadors which incldue Ashton Kutcher, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and Cara Delevigne among others.
 
Suzuki Gixxer is principal sponsor of Delhi Daredevils 
 
Suzuki Motorcycle India has partnered with Delhi Daredevils as principal sponsor. Under this association the IPL team will have the Suzuki Gixxer logo up on the right-side of the chest in the playing and practice kit jerseys. 
 
Triton Communications bags Soujanya's creative mandate
 
Triton Communications has won the creative mandate for Soujanya, a player in the colorant manufacturing and research business.
