ASCI upholds complaints against 143 ads in Jan
 
In January 2017, ASCI’s Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) upheld complaints against 143 out of 191 advertisements. 102 of these belonged to the 'healthcare category', 20 to 'education', seven were in the 'personal care' category and six were in the 'Food & Beverages' category. Eight advertisements fell under the 'other' categories. 
 
FM Tadka launches in Ajmer, Bikaner
 
FM Tadka has expanded in Rajasthan to launch in Ajmer and Bikaner.  The channel has also relaunched across Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota and Raipur with new content and an "upbeat song selection". 
 
GolinOpinion bags Magicbricks' PR mandate
 
GolinOpinion has won the PR mandate for Magicbricks following a multi-agency pitch.
 
The mandate for the agency is to build a strategic framework for Magicbricks and strengthen the brand’s positioning in the online real estate space.
 
Grapevine appoints AndAnd 
 
​Grapevine, a player in the youth marketing industry has appointed AndAnd Brand Partners as its creative partners. 
 
Grapevine claims to reach out to two million college students through a presence across more than 1,000 colleges.
 
WWE appoints Sheetesh Srivastava as VP and GM
 
WWE has announced the appointment of Sheetesh Srivastava as VP and GM for the Indian market. Srivastava will lead WWE’s strategic business initiatives and has mandate includes marketing. He will report to Ed Wells, EVP WWE International and joins from The Walt Disney Company India. 
 
He has also worked with Reliance Broadcast Network, The Times of India Group, and Frito Lay India.
