VYRL appoints DViO Digital
 
DViO Digital has bagged the creative and social media mandate for VYRL Originals by Universal Music. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch. The agency will work on the strategy, content creation and creatives across all digital platforms.
 
Ranveer Singh is Nivea's brand ambassador
 
Nivea has announced the appointment of Ranveer Singh as its new face for Nivea Men. Singh will be involved in a series of marketing and customer initiatives apart from being featured in the brand’s advertising and digital campaigns. 
 
Ola launches #RoadToGold
 
Ola has launched a nationwide crowdfunding campaign through which it helps to develop grassroots sporting talent - #RoadToGold. The campaign aims to increase India’s chances of winning Gold medals at major global sporting events. Ola has enabled its customers to contribute a sum of Rs 1 per ride that will be used to identify and then mould these athletes. 
 
Puma gets KL Rahul
 
Sportswear brand Puma has announced KL Rahul as its brand ambassador on a three-year deal. The announcement was made post a Twitter interaction between Usain Bolt and Virat Kohli. Other brand ambassadors like Stephen Fleming and Jonty Rhodes joined in the banter too. 
 
Whyness Worldwide launches data intelligence vertical
 
Whyness Worldwide has announced the launch of a new data intelligence vertical. The agency has a strategic alliance with Boston-based Findability Sciences, a SoftBank portfolio company. Abhinav Verma has been appointed as director – digital, data and AI. He has previously led the digital marketing mandate at Airtel.
