Weekend Fun: Chennai Express
Celebrate Eid this year with the Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Chennai Express which releases today. The film that is being distributed by UTV Motion Pictures sees Padukone and Khan paired together for the second time after Om Shanti Om.

The movie has also been marketed aggressively with 18 brand tie ups. Brands that associated with the movie include McDonald’s, Baskin Robbins, Videocon, Reliance Digital, Nokia, Lux, Lawman, Emami, Nerolac, Palam Sarees and Western Union.
 
As is now customary, the cast also made TV appearances - in two phases. The first was during the music launch and the other in the week of release. During the music launch, Chennai Express was present on DID Supermoms, Jhalak Dikhlaja and Comedy Nights with Kapil. This week, they were seen associating with Diya Aur Bati, Madhubala and Tarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chasmah.
