Virgin Atlantic appoints new GM- India

Virgin Atlantic Airways, Britain's second largest long haul airline that forayed into Indian skies in 2000, has appointed Michael Burke as the new General Manager - India. Prior to this, Burke served as the Country Manager, Virgin Atlantic Airways in China.Commenting on his new role in India, Mr. Michael Burke said: "India is one of the most exciting destinations today and my appointment couldn't have been better timed. I am looking forward to working in this dynamic market that is simply bustling."

Virgin Atlantic Airways, Britain's second largest long haul airline that forayed into Indian skies in 2000, has appointed Michael Burke as the new General Manager - India. Prior to this, Burke served as the Country Manager, Virgin Atlantic Airways in China.

In his new role, Burke will be responsible for the management and operations of the Virgin Atlantic Airways in India. He will also focus on strategic corporate initiatives and business development for the brand, thus strengthening the airline's position in the country with the support of his team and partners.
