Noise has announced the appointment of Prerna Kapur as associate director of marketing. Based in Gurugram, Kapur will be responsible for leading brand partnerships, public relations and community engagement for the connected lifestyle brand, as it continues to scale its presence in India’s smart wearables and audio market.
In her new role, Kapur will focus on shaping and strengthening Noise’s external brand narrative. Her responsibilities include building strategic collaborations with brands and creators, developing public relations initiatives, and nurturing a strong and engaged community across platforms. She will work closely with internal teams and ecosystem partners to ensure alignment between brand storytelling, partnerships and business priorities.
Kapur brings experience in brand building and strategic communications across services-led businesses. Prior to joining Noise, she has worked with brands including Zomato, Taj Hotels and HPE. Across these roles, she was involved in developing brand narratives, strengthening market presence and supporting communication strategies across multiple stakeholder groups. Her background spans consumer-facing and enterprise environments, providing exposure to both high-growth digital brands and established organisations.
At Noise, her mandate includes building long-term brand equity while supporting the company’s consumer-first positioning. The role reflects the company’s focus on creating meaningful connections with audiences beyond product communication, using partnerships and community-led initiatives to deepen engagement. Kapur’s remit also includes working with creators and collaborators to extend the brand’s relevance among evolving consumer segments.
Commenting on her appointment, Kapur said, “Joining Noise marks an exciting new chapter for me. As I step into the world of smart wearables and audio, I am looking forward to learning, building and creating thoughtful partnerships that strengthen the brand and its community.” Her statement highlights an emphasis on collaboration and community-building as central elements of her approach.
Noise continues to expand its footprint in India’s fast-growing smart wearables and audio categories. The brand has been investing in product innovation alongside brand-building efforts aimed at increasing consideration and loyalty in a competitive market. Marketing plays a key role in supporting this growth, with a focus on consistent storytelling, partnerships and audience engagement.
The appointment comes at a time when brands in the connected lifestyle space are increasingly looking to differentiate through purpose-led communication and community relevance. By strengthening its leadership across partnerships, public relations and community, Noise aims to create a more integrated approach to brand building that supports both short-term visibility and long-term brand value.
Kapur’s experience across hospitality, technology and consumer services is expected to support Noise’s efforts to build a cohesive external presence while remaining agile in a dynamic market. Her role underscores the company’s intent to invest in marketing leadership as it scales operations and deepens engagement with consumers across touchpoints.
