UTVi goes on air

UTVi, the business channel from UTV, went live on April 27. No official announcement of the launch has been made as the distribution roll out is currently in progress. Industry watchers will be closely watching the markets band as the channel's editorial is headed by veteran business journalist Govindaraj Ethiraj, who headed the editorial function of CNBC TV18 when it launched in India.

Campaign India's sister publication Autocar makes its TV debut on the channel, with Autocar editor Hormazd Sorabjee hosting the show with Renuka Kirpalani. Earlier, Sorabjee and Kirpalani were hosting the auto show on CNBC TV18.
