A Grand Prix-winning design will be commercialized as a t-shirt for distribution at Cannes Lions 2009. Ten selected entries will be adopted as designs for T-shirts to be sold next summer at Uniqlo. The 2009 Cannes Lions judges will screen the entries and select the T-shirt design that they judge to be the most suitable for the festival. The theme for this Uniqlo official T-shirt design is the "lion", the symbol of the Cannes International Advertising Festival. There are no age or nationality restrictions and entries can be submitted from all over the world. Entries are open from Friday, November 21, 2008 to Sunday, December 21, 2008. The 2009 Cannes Lions are scheduled to be held from 21st to 27th June.
