Twitterati calls for boycott of Swiggy after brand tweets in support of farmers
Swiggy was the latest brand to be trolled on social media after it responded to a tweet from a Twitter handle of a user called Nirmala Tai 2.0.

The tweet was about the 'farmers protest' in Delhi, which has been ongoing for the last week due to a new bill passed by the Central Government.

Soon after, Twitterati accused Swiggy of being 'woke' and 'taking a partisan stance on the farm bill without even understanding it'.

The Twitter handle is said to be a parody and is apparently named after India's finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman. Swiggy wasn't available for comment at the time of filing this report.
