Triton Communications Bengaluru has bagged the creative and media duties of motorsports management entity Meco Motorsports. The mandates involve Meco's multiple businesses, namely: Meco Racing, MMS Racing Academy, MMS Karting Academy, MMS Products and Accessories, and Meco Recreational Karting Centres.
Meco is an effort to create a conducive environment for motorsports in India and grow the sport. By increasing its popularity, Meco seeks to attract corporate investment, thereby benefitting the talent and the racing fraternity. Meco is founded and headed by Akbar Ebrahim, billed as the first Indian to race professionally outside India.
Ebrahim said, "Meco Motorsports is not just acompany, it's an aggregator of India's collective motorsport aspirations. With the Buddh International Circuit becoming operational, motorsports is gaining more popularity than ever before. Which is why we feel the need to reach out and communicate with a wider audience.
