Triton Communications revs up with Meco Motorsports

Triton Communications Bengaluru has bagged the creative and media duties of motorsports management entity Meco Motorsports. The mandates involve Meco's multiple businesses, namely: Meco Racing, MMS Racing Academy, MMS Karting Academy, MMS Products and Accessories, and Meco Recreational Karting Centres.

Meco is an effort to create a conducive environment for motorsports in India and grow the sport. By increasing its popularity, Meco seeks to attract corporate investment, thereby benefitting the talent and the racing fraternity. Meco is founded and headed by Akbar Ebrahim, billed as the first Indian to race professionally outside India.

Ebrahim said, "Meco Motorsports is not just acompany, it's an aggregator of India's collective motorsport aspirations. With the Buddh International Circuit becoming operational, motorsports is gaining more popularity than ever before. Which is why we feel the need to reach out and communicate with a wider audience. That's where Triton comes into the picture. I anticipate an exciting association with the team."

"Triton Bangalore is one of our branches that is all set to go places, with its dynamic, hungry bunch of youngsters. I'm positive that we will see outstanding business ideas, solid creative work and consequently more achievement out of Bangalore this year too," said Renton D'Sousa, CEO, Triton Communications, on the new business win.

Triton Bengaluru branch director Sujith Aradhya revealed that it was a 'proactive pitch' that won the agency the account.
