The deal is estimated to be between INR 6,000-7,000 crore

Tata Group to acquire Bisleri
Tata Consumer Products has acquired Bisleri International for a sum estimated to be between INR 6,000 and 7,000 crore, according to a report in The Economic Times. 
 
Bisleri was launched in 1965. In 1969, its parent company Parle had acquired Bisleri from an Italian entrepreneur Signor Felice Bisleri.
 
According to the report, Bisleri's current management will continue to lead the brand for the next two years. The brand had suitors which included Danone, Nestle and Reliance Retail.
 
Tata's beverage brands include Tata Copper Plus Water, Himalayan Natural Mineral Water, Tata Gluco +, Good Earth Kombucha and Tata Fruski.
