Scripps Network taps NDTV Lifestyle to make foray into India
NDTV Group and Scripps Networks Interactive, the US-based developer of lifestyle-oriented content for television and the Internet, have entered a strategic alliance to develop lifestyle channels in India.The proposed transaction will result in Scripps Networks Interactive acquiring 69 percent of NDTV Group’s lifestyle programming subsidiary, NDTV Lifestyle. NDTV Group will retain a 31 per cent stake in the joint venture.
