During his 14-year stint, Sharma has worked with clients such as Khazana Jewellery, Fortis Healthcare, Qatar Airways, Victorinox and Ramco.

Sandeep Sharma is set to retire as head of RK SWAMY Media Group at the end of this month. He will continue as a senior consultant with the Brand & Marketing consulting group of RK SWAMY, where he will focus on the Media sector and assist with their business expansion, the group said.

A marketer, an ad man, a broadcaster, Sharma has donned many roles in his career spanning 36 years. He has been a Board member at Media Research Users Council (MRUC), was part of the start-up team of Times Now and ET Now during his seven-year stint at Times Television Network where he was actively involved with the News Broadcasters Association (NBA).  He has been an active participant in various industry forums and the recipient of multiple awards and recognition, including the two ‘Ad Club Agency of the Year’ awards during his five-year stint with them.

“In every assignment I have been able to move the needle in terms of growth in revenue, profitability or market share. Whether it is gaining market share in baby products at Wipro Consumer Products or building the Bajaj Auto portfolio at Contract Advertising,” he told Campaign when he joined RK Swamy in March 2012, taking over the position from Chintamani Rao.

The group said Sharma is keen on exploring an entrepreneurial journey in the AI SaaS technology development space.
