Saatchi & Saatchi has elevated its Delhi executive vice president, Sanjib Dey, as the president of Saatchi & Saatchi India. Dey (pictured) will report to Kamal Basu, CEO, Saatchi & Saatchi India.

“Sanjib has brought a lot of stability to the Delhi office and has led the growth of Saatchi & Saatchi nationally,” said Basu. “In his new role, he will join the agency’s inner circle and actively participate in strategy development aimed towards taking Saatchi & Saatchi India to its next level.” Dey will also be responsible for agency’s Bangalore operations.

Dey has been responsible for attracting some key talent into the agency including: Nandu Narsimhan, executive creative director; Pinaki Bhattacharya, senior VP, planning;  Subho Sengupta – VP; Tuhin Sen – creative director; Jayant Mathew, creative director and Naresh Sharma, GM. Dey also led the wins of several accounts like Videocon group brands, MTS Telecom, Rosebys, Ranbaxy, Radico Khaitan and Bata among others. He has been with Saatchi & Saatchi since March 2007; his second stint with the agency, the first being in 1999-2000 as group manager of Tata Tea and Panasonic accounts.
