Rubeena Singh joins Josh as country manager
VerSe Innovation has announced the appointment of Rubeena Singh as country manager of Josh. Josh is VerSe Innovation's short-video app.

Singh's mandate is to shape and expand the content monetisation model at Josh. She moves from iProspect, where she was CEO.

She said, “The short-video space has disrupted consumer behavior in many ways and its potential to deliver impact is tremendous. I am super excited to be working with a platform that is poised to be the future of entertainment/infotainment. Josh has successfully and consistently tapped into a population that has been underserved for so long. My josh is high as I join an incredible family of visionaries, experts and creators to help drive greater value for and from the platform.”

Sunil Kumar Mohapatra, chief revenue officer, VerSe Innovation, said, “Rubeena comes with deep knowledge of the workings of the media industry, and I am excited to have her on board. At VerSe, we’ve cracked the code of engagement and monetization for Bharat’s consumers, a model that we intend to explode for Josh in the next year. I am confident in Rubeena’s expertise and experience to drive the monetization of Josh at scale, creating symbiotic relationships for brands and creators. Her rich engagement with the marketing and sales community will also help drive the Josh narrative with the larger ecosystem.”

Singh has also worked with Star TV and Network18.
