Sakal Media Group has announced the appointment of Pradeep Dwivedi as CEO for the group's media business. Dwivedi was chief corporate sales and marketing officer at Dainik Bhaskar Group prior.

Abhijit Pawar, MD, Sakal Media Group, said in a statement: “We are excited to have Pradeep Dwivedi joining us as CEO. His exemplary leadership credentials and relationships across multiple industries and deep understanding of media business will be an asset in driving our growth. This is also in alignment with our group vision of sustainable, equitable and measurable socio-economic growth and transformation through all its businesses, and I am looking forward to working with him.”

Dwivedi said, “The Indian media space is very dynamic with transformation of traditional media businesses in a digital era while retaining the trust and affinity of core legacy audience too. There is also enhanced need to develop innovative impact solutions for advertisers and content partners.
