PR Professionals (PRP), the flagship company of PRP Group, has announced a series of senior leadership appointments across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Patna and Vijayawada. The move is aimed at supporting the firm’s expanding client portfolio and growing geographic footprint across India, as well as strengthening its capabilities across public relations, digital and video production services.
As part of its broader growth phase, PRP has added nearly 60 professionals during the calendar year 2025, expanding its workforce across 16 centres nationwide. The leadership appointments are positioned as a key step in building regional depth and operational scale while maintaining consistent service delivery across markets.
In Patna, Rajiv Sharma has joined as AGM-client servicing and media relations. Sharma brings 25 years of experience in journalism and was previously associated with Dainik Jagran, where he oversaw media operations across 17 districts in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. An alumnus of Banaras Hindu University, he contributes editorial insight, regional knowledge and a strong understanding of local media ecosystems to PRP’s eastern operations.
Dr Gunna Karthik has been appointed project lead in Vijayawada. Holding a doctorate in visual communication from Andhra University, Dr Karthik has over 15 years of experience spanning media and public relations. His expertise includes visual storytelling, stakeholder engagement and integrated project management. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening PRP’s presence in Andhra Pradesh and the southern region.
At the firm’s headquarters in Gurugram, Ranjit Kumar Singh has joined as general manager. Singh has close to two decades of experience across media organisations including India Today Group, Dainik Bhaskar and Amar Ujala. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, he is expected to play a key role in driving national client servicing and media engagement strategies.
In Mumbai, Sapana Yengua has been appointed account director. With more than 16 years of experience in corporate communications, brand strategy, content and strategic media relations, she has worked across sectors such as education, BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate and fintech. Her previous roles include stints at Adfactors PR, Concept PR and Madison Public Relations, where she handled brand building, crisis communication and new business initiatives.

Earlier in 2025, PRP also announced the appointment of Mayank Gaur as creative director. With over 30 years of experience, Gaur is a brand strategist, filmmaker, author and creative leader who has worked with brands including JK Cement, GAIL, Denver, Incredible India, Arunachal Pradesh Tourism and Sarovar Hotels. His work includes campaigns such as the ‘Chhutkau Painter’ and ‘Phodu aur Jodu’ TVCs for JK Wall Putty, as well as more than 100 corporate films and documentaries
