NDTV Lumière ties up with Excel Home Video

NDTV Lumière is partnering with Excel Home Videos, which is a player in the home video segment, with a large number of international movie titles in the country. Through this tie up, NDTV Lumière will roll out its titles in the extensive home entertainment segment in India. The films will be released on DVDs only, with a potential release on Blu-Ray going forward. Consumers will have access to 10 titles on DVD.

NDTV Lumière is partnering with Excel Home Videos, which is a player in the home video segment, with a large number of international movie titles in the country. Through this tie up, NDTV Lumière will roll out its titles in the extensive home entertainment segment in India. The films will be released on DVDs only, with a potential release on Blu-Ray going forward. Consumers will have access to 10 titles on DVD. These will showcase talent from across the globe, with works of renowned master directors like Fatih Akin, Louis Malle, Kim Ki-Duk, Philippe Aractingi, Christian Petzold, Bahman Ghobadi, Nuri Bilge Ceylan and Juan Antonio Bayona.

Excel Home Videos will distribute these titles through its distribution network of over 15,000 retail outlets. These movies will also be made available at major online and rental outlets in the country.
