Paramount Cables has handed over its creative duties to Mudra Delhi following a multi-agency pitch. The account size is estimated to be Rs 5 –10 crore.

Mudra Connext will handle the brand’s media duties.

“The brief is to build a strong brand that can engage in a space which till recently was dominated by several unorganised players,” says Sanjay Sharma, president, North and East, Mudra Communications.

Paramount, though one of the leading cable makers in the country, has not yet advertised its offering. “However, with the rising consumer awareness about home cables and with some national players making a lot of noise in the market, the branded home-wiring segment is ready to explode,” added Sharma. “Paramount intends to piggyback on this growing trend and thus, build a solid brand.”

The first campaign is due to break in June.
