Mindshare nets local e-com platform Grofers
GroupM agency Mindshare has announced that it has bagged the media duties of local e-commerce platform Grofers. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch.

The app connecting consumers with local merchants is operational in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi/NCR, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Pune.

Besides grocery, users can shop for items including bakery products, flowers, fruits and vegetables, meats and baby care products, with the promise of delivery within 90 minutes.

Kshitij Torka, VP – marketing, Grofers, said, “We partnered with Mindshare because they understand who we are and our needs at this stage of our business. Whether it is the innovative ideas that they bring to the table, the flexibility in planning or the speed and quality of executing on media plans at short notice, Mindshare demonstrated that they understand the requirements of a startup and the dynamic environment we operate in.”

Prasanth Kumar, CEO, Mindshare South Asia, added, “We are extremely glad to partner with Grofers and look forward to collectively building the brand. With the rapid growth in the e-commerce and digital industry, we are channelising our services and talent towards frameworks and tools that include adaptive and real-time marketing, giving our clients the edge in an ever-evolving media market.”
