Law & Kenneth eyes content space with launch of Law & Kenneth TV

Law & Kenneth is set to launch Law & Kenneth TV, an interactive platform that will offer all kinds of differentiated content to users. The date for the launch of the proposed site is December 1st, 2010.

“Infotainment” is how Anil Nair, managing partner, Digital Law & Kenneth would like to term the kind of content that will be available on the new site.He explains, “We are in the digital business and the way we see it, content is going to be one of the key areas of competence, moving forward. We have been looking at getting into content creation for sometime. On the Internet, there is so much information available, we wanted to leverage our position as domain experts to make an offering that was differentiated and emphasized our philosophy of Power of Thought.”

Nair elaborates further, “The kind of content that one is likely to see on Law & Kenneth TV can be classified under four main categories. There will be user generated content, there will be content that is aggregated from the Internet, syndicated content as well as content that will eventually be created by Law & Kenneth itself. As far as the last category goes, we will be looking at offering insights into consumer behaviour and understanding. We are mainly targeting the marketer community with an offering such as this.”

Nair says they are looking eventually to have between 10 to 15 people in the next six months to comprise the core team. For now, the new unit will be headed by Nair but he says they will eventually be looking for a CEO to head the unit.

The new website will be available at www.lawkenneth.tv
