Laqshya Media Group (LMG) has strengthened Laqshya StoryWorks, its recently launched content division, by appointing Sanjay Nandan as creative head and Dhruv Bhattacharya as national sales head. The vertical focuses on creating original IPs and multi-platform branded stories for digital audiences, covering fiction, non-fiction and AI-enabled content. Nandan and Bhattacharya will work with vertical lead Ravi Kudesia to align creative development and commercial strategy.
Alok Jalan, chairman and managing director, stated that the appointments reinforce LMG’s plans to build Laqshya StoryWorks into an integrated content ecosystem that balances creative ambition with monetisation clarity. He said the unit aims to deliver storytelling that supports brand requirements across platforms.
Nandan, a storyteller, editor and producer with more than 25 years of experience, has worked on factual and scripted formats. His credits include ABP Network’s documentary series Pradhanmantri (1 and 2). A multiple Ramnath Goenka Award winner, he brings editorial depth and familiarity with emerging content formats. Nandan said that effective content facilitates meaningful connections and added that the team intends to explore new technologies, including AI, while focusing on strong narrative principles.
Bhattacharya brings over two decades of revenue experience across ABP Network, Zee Telefilms, Amar Ujala and Dainik Bhaskar. At ABP Network, he led Spotlight & Branded Content nationally and received awards for sales leadership. He noted that brands increasingly seek stories that work across formats and deliver measurable outcomes, adding that Laqshya StoryWorks integrates creativity, data and monetisation from inception.
Both Nandan and Bhattacharya will report to Atul Shrivastava, director and CEO, who said that content marketing and IP creation are becoming critical within the media mix. He added that combining the capabilities of Nandan, Bhattacharya and Kudesia positions the division to support clients from ideation to long-term content assets.
Laqshya StoryWorks will produce long-form and short-form content, as well as experiential storytelling. Supported by data and AI-driven insights, the unit aims to enhance brand campaigns and elevate content innovation.
