Replaces Nishant Rao, who was appointed in May 2015

Kunal Shah is new IAMAI chairman
The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has named Kunal Shah, co-founder and chief executive officer, FreeCharge, as its new chairman. 
 
He replaces Nishant Rao, who was appointed in May 2015. The move follows Rao’s move to join Freshdesk as the global COO, from Linkedin.
 
Further, Vishwas Patel, chief executive officer – CCAvenue, has been announced as the new treasurer. 
 
Vinodh Bhat, co-founder, president and chief strategy officer, Saavn, remains the vice chairman of the association.
