JWT wins Whyte & Mackay business

JWT India has won the creative business of Whyte & Mackay. The business will be handled out of the agency’s Bengaluru office. It will handle the entire portfolio of Whyte & Mackay.

The account was won following a multi-agency pitch which included three other agencies.

Commenting on the win, Rajesh Gangwani, branch head, JWT Bengaluru said, “We won this business because of our understanding of the luxury space and its requirements. We already handle the luxury brand portfolio of Black Dog Whiskey (UB brand). Our strategy is linked to the core idea of the differentiator of the brand. It was also based on our BTL activation work as this category faces restrictions in terms of advertising.”

He added, “We can’t talk much about our plans for the brand as we have just started discussions with the client.”
