Follows newsprint prices crossing US$ 1,000 per MT

INS urges all members to increase ad rates by 20%
The Indian Newspaper Society has recommended that all its members increase its advertising rates by 20%. 
 
Mohit Jain, president, INS, shared a letter to the members through which he stated that publishers can respond to the increase in newsprint prices which have crossed US$ 1,000 per MT, with an increase in ad rates.
 
The letter was sent following a meeting of the executive committee of the INS held on 30 March 2022.
