INMA Global Media Awards 2016: Mumbai Mirror's 'Mumbai Heroes' wins Best in South Asia

Mumbai Mirror bags two more 'First Place' titles; Dainik Bhaskar, Dainik Jagran, Hindustan Times and The Times of India among winners

INMA Global Media Awards 2016: Mumbai Mirror's 'Mumbai Heroes' wins Best in South Asia
Mumbai Mirror bagged the 'Best in South Asia' title at the INMA Global Media Awards held in London  on 24 May 2016. It also bagged a 'First Place' accolade for the same entry in the 'Best Public Relations or Community Service Campaign' category. 
 
Mumbai Mirror bagged another 'First Place' for 'Mumbai Mirror Girls Soccer League' in the category, 'Best Idea to Encourage Print Readership or Engagement'.
 
The Times of India was also among winners. It bagged a 'Second Place' in the 'Best Use of an Event to Build a News Brand' category for 'TOI Green Drive'. The paper bagged another 'Second Place' for 'The Great Indian' in the 'Best use of Social Media' category.
 
Dainik Bhaskar bagged three accolades, a 'Second Place' and two 'Third Places'. In the 'Best Execution of Print Advertising' it bagged a 'Second Place' for  'One Tree One Life'.
 
The 'Third Place' wins were in the 'Best New Corporate Innovation Initiative' and 'Best New Concept to Incubate Products or Ideas' categories for 'No Negative Monday' and 'Annadaan' respectively. 
 
Dainik Jagran bagged a 'Third Place' honour in the 'Best Idea to Encourage Print Readership or Engagement' for its entry, 'Creating a Newspaper For The Future, By The Future'.
 
Hindustan Times also bagged a 'Third Place' accolade. This was for 'Friday Jam Season 2' in the 'Best Idea to Grow Advertising Sales or Retain Advertising Clients' category.
 
The International News Media Association (INMA) awards innovative initiatives to grow audience, revenue and brands.
