Havas Media wins digital duties of Xolo
Havas Media Group India has won the digital duties of Xolo, a part of Lava International, following a multi-agency pitch.
 
Xolo has a presence in smartphones and tablets. The agency said in a statement that the mandate is for integrated digital duties.
 
Anita Nayyar, CEO, Havas Media Group, India and South Asia, said, “We are delighted with the Xolo win close on the back of Yepme.com and a successful last year. It further establishes our digital at core capabilities. Mobile is the future for India and a required essential. We are delighted to work with the team and brand.”
 
“It is a great win and we are looking at a busy year ahead in terms of new business. We are very happy that Xolo has placed their confidence in our services and our digital specialists,” added Mohit Joshi, MD, Havas Media India.
 
The agency statement added that the size of the digital business is estimated to be upwards of Rs 60 crore.
