Nishant Shekhar, vice president of data analytics at Havas Media Network India, has made his mark as the only Indian on Campaign Asia-Pacific's prestigious 40 Under 40 list. The list, which celebrates emerging talent reshaping the advertising landscape, recognised Shekhar’s contributions to elevating the India office's presence within Havas’ global network.

His impact at Havas Media is significant. Shekhar spearheaded the rebuilding of the 'effectiveness pillar' within the global strategic framework, MX, and tailored proprietary tools for India such as the Opportunity Engine, Smart Planner, and Fission. These innovations helped tackle critical business challenges for the agency’s clients, solidifying Shekhar’s role as a driving force in Havas’ Indian operations.

The Campaign Asia-Pacific 40 Under 40 list, curated by a panel of industry leaders, features standout talent from across 14 markets in the Asia-Pacific region. These include Australia, Japan, Singapore, and India, with nominees spanning industries like media, adtech, PR, and video marketing. The jury, which included top executives from Hasbro, Mastercard, and DFI Retail Group, sought individuals who are not only pushing creative boundaries but also lifting others in their ascent.

This year’s list also reflects a greater emphasis on diversity, with 22 women and 18 men earning recognition—a step up from last year’s skewed ratio. Shekhar’s inclusion reaffirms his role as a rising star in the APAC advertising landscape, keeping the Indian flag flying high in a globally competitive industry.
