Google in talks to invest Rs 30,000 crore in Jio

In the last two months Reliance has raised Rs 1,17,000 crore from 14 investors

Google could be the latest investor in Reliance Industries according to a report from Bloomberg.
 
The report states that Google is looking to invest Rs 30,000 crore (US$ 4 billion) into Jio Platforms and announcement could come in the next few weeks.
 
This follows Sunder Pichai, CEO, Google, stating that the company is looking to invest around Rs 75,000 crore in India in the next five to seven years.
 
Reliance has raised Rs 1.17 lakh crore by selling stake in Jio. Facebook was the first company to get stake when it invested Rs 43,574 crore in the company.
