Genesis Burson-Marsteller has announced an 'exclusive' partnership with the NGO, Hand in Hand (www.hihseed.org), to offer CSR expertise and services to its clients. This alliance will offer Genesis's clients not only opportunities to participate in credible, cost-effective and sustainable CSR programmes but also expertise to develop, implement and monitor programmes that make a difference to the communities they support.

"The differentiators for corporations are changing merely from profits to include a measure of contribution towards the well-being of its communities. This makes Corporate Social Responsibility central to successful execution of a corporation's business strategy", says Ashwani Singla, chief executive, Genesis B-M.

The range of CSR services would include: CSR preparedness assessment; design-to- implementation of CSR programmes; enhancing organization's CSR capacity through a unique 'build-operate-transfer' model; design, and development of Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Reports, amongst others.

"A lot of companies who would like to initiate meaningful CSR programmes need expertise on the ground to help develop and implement their CSR agenda. This alliance fills this critical gap between good intent and successful implementation," says Percy Barnevik, chairman, Hand-in-Hand International and former global CEO of ABB.
