Ford India gets Raj Sarkar from Global Lincoln Team as VP - marketing
Ford India has announced the appointment of Raj Sarkar as vice president - marketing. Sarkar joined Ford Motor Company in 1996 and was manager, Lincoln Global Business Strategy in the US, prior to the move.
 
He will report to Vinay Piparsania, executive director, marketing, sales and service, Ford India.
 
“His extensive marketing experience along with the rich global perspective that he has gained over the years with Ford will surely help us go further with our brand and business in India,” said Piparsania, in a statement announcing the appointment.
 
The company has also appointed Rahul Gautam, B-car product marketing manager, Ford Asia Pacific, as general manager - consumer marketing.
 
In another development, Vinay Raina, general manager - sales planning, has been appointed general manager - product marketing.
 
This follows the movement of Anurag Mehrotra, vice president - marketing as vice president - sales, in February 2013.
