Dus ka no dum

Sony’s big ticket show, the Salman Khan starrer Dus Ka Dum, has opened to unflattering ratings. According to aMap data for six metros, Dus Ka Dum’s opener on Friday, June 6, received an average rating of 1.65 (CS 4+, 6 metros). While the show clearly outdid NDTV Imagine’s Junoon (0.82), it is significantly short of STAR Plus Shah Rukh Khan starrer Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain (2.7% on launch day).

Dus Ka Dum was anticipated by Sony to draw audiences in droves, considering that this was the first time that Salman Khan hosts a TV show and the fact that the show was promoted extensively on SET Max during the high-viewership Indian Premier League.
