Dentsu elevates Kartik Iyer to COO, hands Divya Karani additional media biz mandate

The duo will report to Anand Bhadkamkar, CEO, Dentsu International India

Dentsu International has announced key leadership changes in India as part of its global organisational redesign. Kartik Iyer, erstwhile president - Media Brands and Amplifi, will now join the network’s market leadership team as its COO. He will continue to report to Anand Bhadkamkar, CEO, Dentsu International India, and will help drive the implementation of Dentsu’s new business model within the country.
 
He will also help navigate Dentsu’s global transformation program with a focus on collaborating with leaders and client teams across businesses in the market.
 
The network has also handed over an additional mandate to Divya Karani, the CEO at Dentsu X India. Karani will hereon also serve as the CEO for media, South Asia, overseeing Dentsu X, Carat, iProspect and Posterscope. In this additional role, she will look to drive the global media strategy and delivery in South Asia. She, too, will continue to report to Bhadkamkar.
