Agency's task is to ‘rejuvenate’ the brand of refrigerators and washing machines

Contract Advertising has bagged the creative mandate for Kelvinator. McCann Erickson was the incumbent agency for the brand.
 
"The mandate was awarded to Contract basis its credential and recent work put out by the agency," informed an official statement. The statement added that Contract would be responsible for 'rejuvenating the brand in today’s competitive context’.
 
Ayesha Ghosh, general manager, Contract Advertising, said, “Having been an iconic brand, our aim is to make the brand more relevant to the current younger audience, keeping the brand’s essence intact.”
 
Harish Marathe, marketing head, Kelvinator, added, “In Contract, we see an amazing partnership that enables us to fulfill our brand objective. Their work and approach gives us the confidence to realise the set goals for both our refrigerator and washing machine range.”
