“The per capita consumption of soft drinks is one of the lowest in the world here. Pendurkar began her career with Hindustan Ciba-Geigy Ltd (currently Novartis India) as a management trainee in 1988 and in a span of eight years moved across various roles in market research, product development and marketing. Pendurkar has also worked with Hindustan Lever and with Kimberly Clark Lever in various capacities in the sales & marketing.
