BBDO India appoints Ranjeev Vij as VP, Delhi

Ranjeev Vij has been appointed business director and vice president of BBDO India's Delhi operations. Vij (pictured) will be responsible for the Hewlett Packard account as well as new business initiatives for the agency. His appointment is effective Tuesday 8 July and he will be reporting to Josy Paul, chairman and national creative director.

BBDO India appoints Ranjeev Vij as VP, Delhi

Ranjeev Vij has been appointed business director and vice president of BBDO India's Delhi operations. Vij (pictured) will be responsible for the Hewlett Packard account as well as new business initiatives for the agency. His appointment is effective Tuesday 8 July and he will be reporting to Josy Paul, chairman and national creative director.

Vij was previously with Vyas Giannetti Creative (VGC) as vice president and branch head of the agency's Delhi operations. Prior to VGC he spent three and half years managing the Bharti Airtel business nationally in India. Vij has more than fourteen years experience in the industry and has previously worked for Enterprise Nexus (now Bates Enterprise), Ogilvy & Mather, R K SWAMY BBDO, Lowe and FCB Ulka (now Draft FCB Ulka).

The portfolio of brands that Vij has worked on include Airtel, General Motors, Sony (CTV, Digital Cameras, Digital Camcorders, Digital Media, Car Audios), Whirlpool, Nestle Chocolate & Confectionaries, LG and Dabur Vatika among others.

BBDO India has made a few key appointments in the last few months. These include Sandipan Bhattacharya and Manoj Deb as executive creative directors, Sangeet Pillai as planning director, Rajesh Sikroria as general manager and Partho Sengupta as creative director. The CEO position though remains to be filled.
