Animeta appoints Vipasha Joshi, Krishna Desai and Biswamitra Ray

Joshi was with Jellysmack, Desai moves from Turner International, and Ray was previously working with Meta

Animeta appoints Vipasha Joshi, Krishna Desai and Biswamitra Ray
Animeta has announced the appointment of Vipasha Joshi as chief operating officer, Krishna Desai as chief product officer and  Biswamitra ‘Vishu’ Ray as vice president -  branded content and creator projects. 
 
Joshi will lead creator growth and content strategy at Animeta across all verticals, languages and regions. She moves from Jellysmack, where she was country manager. 
 
Desai will oversee the development of the company’s AI-powered platform to provide data and business intelligence. He moves from Turner International, where he was executive director and network head, kids entertainment - South Asia. 
 
Ray will serve as senior vice president of branded content and creator projects. He moves from Meta, where he was strategic partnerships manager, creator and creator strategist. 
 
Potnis said, “Our AI-powered platform will provide talented creators with multi-platform monetization opportunities while increasing their communities in regional and international markets. I am glad that we have a stellar team with the right and relevant experiences to accomplish this.”
 
Joshi said, “Animeta offers holistic, all-encompassing, sustainable growth for our creator partners, and I am happy to make a meaningful difference in the creators’ lives.”
 
Desai said, “I am excited to build an AI-powered tech product that has the potential to change the lives of millions of social content creators across the world and bring about a paradigm shift in the industry.”
 
Ray said, “I’m fortunate that my creator friends perceive me as an ‘enabler’. With my role at Animeta, I intend to do exactly that — enable more opportunities for creators and bring about a holistic, concerted effort which will lead to their sustained, scalable, well-rounded growth.”
 
Joshi has over eight years of experience and has also worked with Dentsu and Google.
 
Desai has also had stints with WPP and Warner in a career spanning 22 years.
 
In a career spanning two decades, Ray has also worked with Zoom, AXN Networks India and Star India, among others.
